AlterMe's Friends and Family Member Referral Program Terms
The AlterMe Friends and Family Member Referral Program (the “Program”) allows eligible AlterMe members to earn referral rewards by referring new members to AlterMe, subject to these Terms.
- Eligibility
To participate in the Program, a participant must (a) be a lawful resident of the United States; (b) be at least eighteen (18) years of age; (c) have previously purchased an AlterMe System; and (d) be an active member at the time referral rewards are issued by AlterMe. Employees, officers, directors, contractors, agents, affiliates, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
- Qualified Referrals
A referral will qualify as a “Qualified Referral” only if all of the following requirements are met:
(a) the referred individual is a new customer who has never previously purchased an AlterMe product or service;
(b) the referred individual is not currently participating in an active AlterMe sales process, marketing campaign, lead list, waitlist, or customer acquisition funnel maintained by AlterMe;
(c) the referred individual completes a purchase using the referring member's designated referral code or referral link;
(d) the purchase is fully paid;
(e) the purchase is not canceled, refunded, returned, disputed, charged back, or otherwise reversed;
(f) the referred member remains in good standing through the expiration of AlterMe's applicable refund, return, and chargeback risk periods; and
(g) AlterMe determines, in its sole discretion, that the referral complies with these Terms.
- Referral Rewards
For each Qualified Referral:
(a) the referring member will receive a Two Hundred Dollar ($200) gift card designated by AlterMe via our distribution partner, Tremendous; and
(b) the referred member will receive a Two Hundred Dollar ($200) discount applied to the qualifying purchase at the time of checkout, subject to verification of eligibility.
Referral rewards for referring members will generally be issued within thirty (30) days after satisfaction of all qualification requirements. Referral rewards have no cash value except where required by law and may not be sold, transferred, assigned, or exchanged. AlterMe reserves the right to substitute rewards of equal or greater value.
- Referral Limits
Participants may earn rewards for a maximum of five (5) Qualified Referrals during any calendar year. Any referrals exceeding this limit shall not qualify for rewards unless AlterMe expressly approves the participant’s enrollment in a separate affiliate, ambassador, influencer, or marketing partner program.
- Prohibited Conduct
The following activities are prohibited and may result in disqualification, forfeiture of rewards, suspension from the Program, or recovery of previously issued rewards:
(a) self-referrals;
(b) creating multiple accounts;
(c) referrals involving the same individual, household, shipping address, billing address, email address, payment method, or device;
(d) referrals involving fictitious persons or fraudulent transactions;
(e) advertising referral codes through coupon websites, rebate websites, cashback websites, deal forums, discount aggregators, or similar services;
(f) using paid advertising that incorporates AlterMe trademarks, trade names, or branded keywords without AlterMe's prior written consent;
(g) engaging in spam, unsolicited commercial communications, or deceptive marketing practices;
(h) making false, misleading, unsubstantiated, medical, therapeutic, diagnostic, disease-treatment, or health outcome claims regarding AlterMe; and
(i) any conduct that AlterMe reasonably determines is intended to manipulate, abuse, or circumvent the Program.
- Disclosure Requirements
Participants who publicly promote AlterMe or share referral links through social media, websites, blogs, podcasts, videos, or similar channels must clearly and conspicuously disclose that they may receive compensation or referral rewards if a purchase is made through their referral link or code. Participants are solely responsible for complying with all applicable advertising, endorsement, and disclosure laws and regulations.
- Taxes
Participants are solely responsible for any taxes arising from receipt of referral rewards. AlterMe may require completion of tax documentation, including a Form W-9, before issuing rewards and may issue Forms 1099 or other tax reporting documents as required by law.
- Modification and Termination
AlterMe reserves the right, at any time and for any reason, to (a) modify these Terms; (b) modify the reward amounts or qualification requirements; (c) suspend or terminate the Program; or (d) deny, cancel, revoke, or recover rewards obtained through error, fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms. AlterMe’s decisions regarding the Program shall be final and binding.
- Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AlterMe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or relating to participation in the Program.
- Interpretation
AlterMe reserves the sole right to interpret and apply these Terms and to determine eligibility for participation and rewards. Participation in the Program constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
